Titan Company’s consumer businesses delivered a strong performance in Q2FY26, reporting an overall growth of around 20% YoY. During the quarter, Titan added 55 net new stores, taking its combined retail footprint to 3,377 outlets across India and international markets.
Domestic Business Steady, Jewellery Leads the Way
Titan’s domestic segment grew 18% YoY, with jewellery leading the charge at 19% growth. The surge in gold prices boosted ticket sizes, offsetting a slight drop in buyer counts. Festive season momentum, which started early in September this year, helped balance the high base effect from Q2FY25. Strategic consumer promotions, including exchange offers and marketing campaigns, further drove demand.
Within jewellery, Tanishq, Mia, and Zoya brands posted mid-teens growth, outperforming plain gold jewellery. CaratLane grew 30% YoY, supported by double-digit like-for-like growth. Titan also opened its first wedding destination store, Rivaah, in Delhi during the quarter. Out of 34 new jewellery stores, 6 were Tanishq, 18 Mia, and 10 CaratLane.
Watches and Eyewear Show Healthy Momentum
The domestic watches business grew 12% YoY, led by a 17% increase in the analog segment. Titan-branded watches saw strong festive-season sales, while smart wearables continued to face pressure, declining 23% YoY. The division added 15 net new stores, including Titan World, Helios, and Fastrack outlets.
EyeCare grew 9% YoY, fueled by international brands, sunglasses, and e-commerce growth. Five new Runway stores were added during the quarter.
Emerging Businesses Gain Traction
Emerging businesses saw strong growth of 37% YoY. Fragrances grew 48% YoY, women’s bags surged 90%, and Taneira rose 13% YoY. Irth added two stores in Delhi and Kolkata, while Taneira closed two stores during the quarter.
International Business Surges
Titan’s international segment posted a stellar 86% YoY growth, led by Tanishq doubling its business in the USA and recording strong double-digit growth in the GCC market. A new store was opened in Virginia, USA.
