TGV SRAAC Ltd has announced the decommissioning of its 4.89 MW wind power unit located in Ramgiri, Anantapur. The decision, taken in the Board meeting on December 30, 2025, is effective from December 31, 2024.
The move comes as the operational costs of the wind mill have exceeded its revenue due to various factors, making it financially unviable.
In the exchange filing, the company shared, “The Board in its meeting held on 30.12.2025 has taken note of the decommissioning of 4.89 MW Wind Mill unit at Ramgiri (Anantapur) effective from 31.12.2024 as the cost of running the plant is more than its revenue due to various reasons.”
In the meantime, TGV SRAAC shares closed today at ₹105.70, rising from an opening price of ₹98.50. The stock reached an intraday high of ₹107.00 and a low of ₹98.15. Its 52-week high stands at ₹120.90, while the low is ₹74.19.
