Tejas Networks Ltd. announced today that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has placed an add-on Advance Purchase Order (APO) with the company for the supply, deployment, and maintenance of 4G mobile network equipment for 18,685 BSNL sites.
The total expected value of this order for Tejas Networks is approximately Rs 1,525.53 crore, exclusive of taxes. This significant order pertains specifically to Radio Access Network (RAN) components and related equipment under the BSNL 4G project.
This update is pursuant to the master contract signed earlier between Tejas Networks and TCS, with detailed purchase orders to follow upon fulfillment of specific conditions and documentation formalities.
Tejas Networks had earlier disclosed the original engagement in August 2023 and this add-on order further strengthens the company’s participation in India’s 4G infrastructure development.
