Tejas Networks Limited has received a payment of Rs 189.1657 crore from the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Telecom and Networking Products. The company confirmed the receipt of the amount on March 29, 2025, in a filing with the NSE and BSE.
The amount disbursed represents 85% of the incentive for the first two quarters of FY 2024–25, with the remaining 15% expected to be released later in accordance with the PLI Scheme guidelines.
This marks the first tranche of PLI benefits received by Tejas Networks under the central government’s initiative to boost domestic manufacturing in the telecom and networking sector.
The incentive reinforces Tejas Networks’ key role in India’s indigenous telecom infrastructure ecosystem and is expected to further strengthen the company’s growth and R&D capabilities in the coming quarters.
