Tech Mahindra reported a significant increase in its workforce during Q2 FY25, with the headcount rising by 6,653 employees, bringing the total number of employees to 154,273. This growth reflects the company’s continued focus on expanding its talent pool to support its strategic initiatives in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and business process services (BPS).
Despite a challenging market, the company’s hiring efforts align with its commitment to improving operational efficiency and delivering quality services across its global operations. The company also noted improvements in utilization, which rose to 86.3% in Q2 FY25, further optimizing its workforce efficiency.
Additionally, the IT LTM attrition rate stood at 10.6%, down 80 basis points YoY, showing improvements in employee retention, which has been a key focus for Tech Mahindra.
