Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has announced an expanded partnership with Morrisons, one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains. The collaboration aims to strengthen Morrisons’ digital transformation across key business areas like retail, e-commerce, and marketing.

Under the new agreement, TCS will align Morrisons’ operations, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience by modernizing its legacy systems and integrating AI-powered solutions. The company will deliver end-to-end engineering services, including application design, development, testing, and maintenance. Additionally, TCS will establish an Automation Factory and a Business Intelligent Command Centre (BICC) to drive proactive issue resolution and data-driven decision-making.

The expanded engagement will also transform Morrisons’ loyalty, marketing, and e-commerce platforms—helping the retailer accelerate its strategic priorities, capture greater market share, and deliver a more seamless shopping experience. The initiative has also allowed Morrisons to consolidate its vendor base, boosting synergy across business operations.

TCS and Morrisons have been partners since 2014, working together on digital and supply chain transformation projects that reduced waste, improved stock availability, and modernized IT operations.

TCS holds a strong leadership position in the UK IT services market, working with over 200 top brands. The company was ranked the number one IT service provider for customer satisfaction in the UK and recorded 10% growth with $4.58 billion in revenue from the region in FY2024.
