Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic collaboration with AMD to accelerate enterprise-scale adoption of artificial intelligence and generative AI, moving organisations decisively from pilot projects to full-scale production. The partnership brings together TCS’s deep domain expertise, systems integration strength, and global innovation ecosystem with AMD’s high-performance computing and AI hardware portfolio, creating a robust platform for next-generation digital transformation.
Under this collaboration, TCS and AMD will jointly co-develop industry-specific AI and GenAI solutions designed to modernise legacy environments, strengthen secure digital workplaces, and optimise hybrid cloud and edge infrastructures. By combining TCS’s consulting and implementation capabilities with AMD’s leadership across CPUs, GPUs, and AI accelerators, enterprises will be enabled to deploy cloud-to-edge workloads more efficiently while achieving higher performance across both AI training and inference use cases.
A key focus of the partnership is talent and capability building. TCS will rapidly upskill and certify its workforce on advanced AMD hardware and software technologies, creating a strong pool of specialists capable of co-innovating and delivering AI-led solutions at scale. In parallel, the collaboration will drive the development of industry-focused GenAI frameworks across critical sectors such as life sciences, where AI can accelerate drug discovery, manufacturing through cognitive quality engineering and smart factory solutions, and BFSI with intelligent risk management and decision systems.
