Tata Technologies and Emerson have entered a strategic partnership to develop integrated testing and validation solutions tailored for global OEMs in the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle sectors. This collaboration brings together Tata Technologies’ strong expertise in systems engineering, E/E architecture, and mobility platform development with Emerson’s advanced, software-connected test and measurement technologies.
The goal of the partnership is to enable OEMs to overcome the challenges of next-generation mobility, including the development of connected, electric, and autonomous vehicles. With a focus on reducing cost and time to market, the alliance aims to make validation processes smarter, faster, and more cost-efficient for software-defined vehicles.
In a recent pilot project with a leading European luxury car manufacturer, the partnership delivered EV powertrain test rigs in just five months—67% faster than the usual 15-month timeline. Another pilot with a premium European brand involved the creation of a fully automated validation system for an advanced infotainment head-up display, completing over 30,000 test cases and dramatically speeding up the development process.
Pilot programs are currently underway in key global markets, including India, Europe, and North America. Both companies are actively working on expanding their joint efforts to help OEMs deliver competitive, software-driven mobility solutions at scale.
With the growing complexity of vehicle systems and the rise of EVs and autonomous technologies, the Tata Technologies–Emerson partnership is well-positioned to support the future of the global mobility ecosystem.
