Tata Power has formed a strategic partnership with Noida International Airport (NIA) to integrate renewable energy into the airport’s operations. Tata Power will supply 10.8 MW of wind power and develop a 13 MW onsite solar power capacity, ensuring the airport’s clean energy needs are met through two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
This initiative is a part of Tata Power’s ongoing commitment to building sustainable airport infrastructure. Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) will manage the solar and wind energy installations, while Tata Power Trading Company Limited (TPTCL) will handle the renewable energy interface for NIA.
Tata Power has committed to providing sustainable energy to NIA for 25 years, investing ₹550 crore (~$66 million) in solar and wind power supply, dry utilities and smart energy infrastructure.
