Tata Motors on Monday informed exchanges that its UK-based subsidiary, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), has reported a global IT security incident impacting its operations.
In a statement, JLR said it is “working at pace to resolve global IT issues impacting our business” and assured that further updates will be shared in due course.
The company did not disclose details of the nature or scope of the incident, but clarified that it is being treated as a material event under SEBI regulations. Tata Motors added that it will provide requisite disclosures as more information is received from JLR.
The development comes as JLR continues its turnaround strategy under Tata Motors, with recent focus on electrification, supply chain improvements, and margin expansion.
