Key Highlights:

    Tata Communications reported a YoY increase in income from operations to ₹5,781 crore for Q2 FY25, compared to ₹4,897 crore in Q2 FY24, reflecting a growth of 18.03%.
  2. Revenue Growth (QoQ):
    Revenue rose by 2% QoQ, with the company reporting ₹5,781 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to ₹5,659 crore in the previous quarter (Q1 FY25).
  3. Net Profit (YoY):
    Net profit for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹227.27 crore, up from ₹221.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last year (Q2 FY24), a growth of around 2.7%.
  4. Net Profit (QoQ):
    Net profit saw a sharp decline QoQ, dropping from ₹332.93 crore in Q1 FY25 to ₹227.27 crore in Q2 FY25, reflecting a decrease of 31.7%.
  5. Expenses:
    Total expenses for Q2 FY25 increased to ₹5,503.47 crore from ₹4,599.59 crore in Q2 FY24, showing an increase in operational costs YoY.
  6. Earnings Before Tax (EBT):
    Tata Communications recorded earnings before tax (excluding exceptional items) of ₹278 crore in Q2 FY25, down from ₹330.98 crore in the previous quarter.

The results reflect strong YoY revenue growth; however, the decline in QoQ net profit highlights short-term challenges, including rising operational costs.
