Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) has announced the launch of a new branch in Tamil Nadu, expanding its retail footprint across the southern region. According to a regulatory filing submitted to the NSE and BSE, the bank will inaugurate a new branch at Panachamoodu in Kanyakumari district on November 27, 2025.
The new branch is located at Door No. 1/216A, 1st Floor, Panachamoodu, Puliyoorsalai Panchayat, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari District – 629152, TMB said in its disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations.
The bank’s Company Secretary, Swapnil Yelgaonkar, confirmed the update, noting that the expansion is part of TMB’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence and improve banking access across semi-urban and rural regions.
