Swaraj Engines Limited (SEL) reported its highest-ever quarterly profit before tax (PBT) of ₹60.98 crore in Q2 FY25, driven by robust engine demand. The company posted a 19.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net operating revenue, reaching ₹464.24 crore for the second quarter, compared to ₹388.90 crore in the same period last year. Net profit surged 20.6% YoY to ₹45.42 crore from ₹37.67 crore.
In Q2 FY25, engine sales hit an all-time high, with 46,962 units sold, up from 37,876 units last year. This marks the tenth consecutive quarter of profit growth for the company. The board approved these results on October 21, 2024.
