Swan’s Shipyard (RNEL) has recently announced that the company appointed Rear Admiral Vipin Kumar Saxena (IN Retd.) as Chief Executive Officer. Admiral Saxena’s appointment is a significant step in the company’s ongoing transformation. In this vital role, he will oversee the shipyard’s operations, with a focus on driving future development, modernization and expansion in critical sectors such as shipbuilding and marine infrastructure.
Admiral Saxena has over 37 years of outstanding service in the Indian Navy, as well as leadership roles in shipbuilding and defence. He managed a number of high-profile projects, including the construction, refit and upgrade of warships and submarines for the Indian Navy.
