Supreme Industries Limited has taken a significant step towards expanding its presence in the plastics piping industry by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Wavin Industries Limited (Wavin India) on March 10, 2025. This acquisition, valued at $30 million plus net working capital, is subject to due diligence and regulatory approvals.
Wavin India specializes in manufacturing PVC, CPVC, HDPE, and PPR pipes for building and infrastructure projects, with manufacturing units in Banmore (M.P.), Hyderabad (Telangana), and Neemrana (Rajasthan). The acquisition will increase Supreme’s production capacity by 73,000 M.T. per annum, allowing for more efficient service across North and South India.
A key benefit of this deal is Supreme Industries’ exclusive access to Wavin B.V. (Netherlands) technologies for the next seven years, covering advancements in water supply, sanitation, and climate-resilient solutions.
With a turnover of ₹1,007.50 crores in FY 2023-24, Wavin India has been a strong player in the market. This acquisition aligns with Supreme Industries’ strategy to strengthen its position in the plastics piping sector and enhance technological capabilities.
Expected to be completed by June 30, 2025, the acquisition will boost Supreme’s infrastructure segment and drive innovation in India and SAARC countries.
