Subros Limited has announced a fresh order win from Indian Railways for a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract covering Cab HVAC units. The order, valued at about ₹52.18 crore including GST, was finalized under a recently completed tender and will be executed over a three-year period.

The tender has been awarded by Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), Varanasi, a key unit of Indian Railways. The company clarified that the contract comes with the standard terms and conditions typically followed by the Railways, with no involvement from promoter or related party entities.

Subros has long supplied air-conditioning systems for rail driver cabins and coaches, and this new contract marks a further step as the company expands into service-based agreements in addition to its existing supply role. The company added that, with this deal, its cumulative railway segment order book for the current financial year has reached approximately ₹86.35 crore. This includes both supply and maintenance commitments.

The new order is entirely domestic in nature and focuses specifically on maintaining Cab HVAC units used in Railways locomotives. Subros stated that the work will be completed within three years, with the main contract value of ₹44.22 crore and GST amounting to ₹7.96 crore.
