Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a leading player in the domestic renewable energy EPC sector, has secured a significant new order from a private Independent Power Producer (IPP). The company has received the Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 305 MW AC / 396 MWp DC solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in Rajasthan, India.

Valued at approximately INR 504 crore, including taxes, this new project strengthens SWREL’s position in the fast-growing solar energy market. The order comes from one of its repeat customers, further emphasizing the company’s strong relationships within the private sector. As the renewable energy market continues to expand, particularly in the private IPP segment, SWREL is witnessing a robust pipeline of upcoming projects.

With this new milestone, SWREL continues to contribute to India’s renewable energy goals, supporting a cleaner and more sustainable future. The company’s experience and strong customer base make it a trusted partner for large-scale PV projects across the country.

Amit Jain, Global CEO, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group said, “We have been making strong in-roads in the domestic Private IPP market this year and this new project win reflects our strong positioning and bears testament to our domestic value proposition. Beside the strong order pipeline we are seeing in the private sector there are a large number of bids expected from PSU’s in Q4 which augurs well for achieving our order booking target for the year.”
