Steel Strips Wheels Ltd (SSWL) has announced that it has secured a fresh export order from a US-based customer for its trailer wheel segment, according to a regulatory filing dated December 12, 2025. The company confirmed that the order, valued at close to USD 1 million (approximately Rs 9.02 crore), will be executed from its Chennai plant within the month of December.
The filing stated that this marks the re-start of cooperation between SSWL and its US customer, signalling the possibility of higher volumes and repeat orders in the coming months. The order is entirely international and categorized as an export contract, with no related-party involvement.
The company noted that the order falls under the trailer wheel business segment and is expected to boost its export momentum for upcoming quarters. SSWL highlighted that the business value and the immediate delivery timeline underscore its growing traction in overseas markets.
