Star Cement Limited has announced the successful commissioning of a 7 MW AQC Boiler at its newly commissioned cement plant in Lumshnong, Meghalaya, as part of its West Heat Recovery System (WHRS). This adds to the total 19 MW operational WHRS capacity at the plant, contributing to the company’s expansion efforts.

The WHRS project, which aims for a total capacity of 12 MW, is a significant step in the company’s sustainability initiatives. The plant’s new capabilities are expected to enhance operational efficiency while supporting the company’s overall growth trajectory.
