SRF Limited has successfully commissioned and capitalized its new agrochemical intermediate manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat, at a total cost of ₹239 crore. This marks the full completion of the capital expenditure project that was earlier approved by the company’s Board in October 2023.
As per the company’s regulatory filing dated April 10, 2025, this development follows the commissioning of the first phase of the project on July 31, 2024, which had been completed at a cost of ₹190 crore. The overall project, originally estimated at ₹235 crore, has now been concluded slightly above budget at ₹239 crore.
This facility enhances SRF’s capacity in the specialty chemicals segment, particularly in agrochemical intermediates, aligning with the company’s long-term strategy of strengthening its position in the chemical value chain.
The commissioning of the new plant is expected to support SRF’s revenue growth from the chemicals business and boost its capabilities in serving domestic and global agrochemical markets.
