Sonata Software Limited has clarified that the recent changes to the US H-1B visa regulations, including the introduction of a one-time US$100,000 fee per new petition, will have minimal impact on its business operations.
The company, in its filing to the NSE and BSE on September 23, 2025, said that its H-1B visa utilization is not material and that existing deployed H-1B employees and contractors remain unaffected.
Sonata assured that service continuity for clients will not be impacted. The IT services firm highlighted its sustained investments in workforce planning, visa compliance, global mobility, and local hiring, which ensure uninterrupted delivery. It also pointed to its strategy of expanding local and nearshore delivery centers as a buffer against regulatory risks, aligning with its broader Modernization Engineering value proposition.
The company added that it continues to closely monitor regulatory developments and will provide updates if any further changes warrant attention from clients or stakeholders.
