Sonata Software has announced a $73 million digital modernization agreement with a leading US-based company in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sector. The five-year engagement will focus on enhancing the client’s digital capabilities, with an emphasis on global scalability, innovation acceleration, and IT operations optimization through an AI-driven outsourcing model.
As part of the agreement, Sonata Software will establish a dedicated AI-enabled Modernization Engineering Center in India. This center will support the client’s digital initiatives across key areas such as platform engineering, cloud transformation using Amazon Cloud, enterprise systems integration with Salesforce and Workday, cybersecurity measures, data services, and modern application development. Automation and scalable engineering practices will form the foundation of all initiatives under this program.
The collaboration is expected to drive improvements in operational efficiency, support faster innovation cycles, and provide the flexibility required to expand across international markets. Sonata’s role will be to help the client adapt to the evolving demands of the TMT sector through strategic use of AI and modernization engineering practices.
