Somany Ceramics Limited has provided an update regarding its Kassar Plant in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, following the temporary disruption in operations reported earlier on 17th August 2025. The disruption was caused by an incident in GAIL’s Gauna-Bawana natural gas pipeline, which led to a complete temporary halt of gas supply to the Plant.
The company informed that the supply of natural gas to the Kassar Plant has now been partially restored. Consequently, the Plant has resumed operations on a partial basis. Somany Ceramics is actively evaluating additional measures to manage the situation effectively and gradually ramp up production to normal levels.
It is important to note that all other manufacturing facilities of the company continue to operate at full capacity. Given this, the company does not anticipate any impact on sales arising from the temporary disruption at the Kassar Plant.
Somany Ceramics remains committed to maintaining transparency with its investors and stakeholders and will continue to provide timely updates regarding any further material developments related to the operations at the Kassar Plant or any other significant operational matters.
The company emphasizes that the temporary disruption is being managed carefully, and steps are being taken to ensure minimal impact on overall production and business continuity.
