Solex Energy Limited (NSE: SOLEX), a leading Indian solar module and cell manufacturer, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia-based TT Vision Holdings Berhad (KLSE: TTVHB) to collaborate on advancing solar manufacturing automation, engineering capabilities, and talent development in India.

The strategic partnership brings together Solex Energy’s nearly three decades of experience in solar manufacturing and TT Vision’s global expertise in automation technologies, inspection systems, and advanced manufacturing equipment. The collaboration aims to strengthen India’s renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem by improving efficiency, quality standards, and technological adoption across solar production processes.

Under the MoU, TT Vision will provide specialised technical training to Solex engineers at its Penang facility in Malaysia as well as at its upcoming operations in India. The training will focus on automation systems, solar inspection technologies, process equipment, and global best manufacturing practices. This initiative is expected to enhance Solex’s engineering depth and support continuous innovation across its manufacturing operations.

As part of the agreement, Solex Energy will gain preferential access to TT Vision’s automation solutions to support research and development, new product introduction, and process optimisation initiatives. Solex will also act as a preferred partner for the rollout of TT Vision’s future automation technologies within the Indian solar manufacturing landscape.

TT Vision will further assist Solex through consulting support in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and structured problem-solving frameworks. This support is expected to play a critical role as Solex undertakes capacity expansion and operational scale-up to meet growing demand in the solar sector.
