Solex Energy Limited, one of India’s leading solar manufacturers, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ISC Konstanz, Germany, to accelerate research and development in solar cell manufacturing. The partnership was announced at a press conference in New Delhi, attended by company leaders, ISC Konstanz delegates, and key industry experts.

Through this collaboration, ISC Konstanz will provide advanced technological support to Solex for upgrading its upcoming TOPCon cell line and developing next-generation Rear Contact and c-Si tandem/perovskite solar technologies. The agreement also includes setting up a dedicated in-house R&D line at Solex, backed by ISC Konstanz’s patent portfolio, aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing solar efficiency within India.

Under its Vision 2030, Solex Energy plans to establish 10 GW each of solar module and solar cell manufacturing capacity, setting new benchmarks in India’s renewable energy sector.

At the same event, Solex introduced India’s first Rear Contact Solar Module, branded TAPI Rear Contact—a registered trademark of Solex Energy. This new-age module is powered by advanced N-Type Rear Contact technology, offering up to 24.60% efficiency and 665W power output, with zero front shading and superior temperature performance. Commercial production of TAPI Rear Contact is expected to begin by FY27, marking Solex’s entry into next-generation premium solar technology.

Solex Energy will showcase its latest innovations, including the TAPI Rear Contact range, at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025 in Greater Noida, starting October 30, 2025. Visitors can explore these technologies at Booth No. R318, Hall 11.

As part of its growth strategy, Solex is also expanding its network of dealers and distributors across India and international markets such as the United States and Europe, further boosting its global presence.
