Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has released its consolidated sales report for September 2025, reflecting its performance across various product segments for Q2 FY26.

CR Coil & CR Sheets
The company recorded a monthly CR Coil/CR Sheets sale of 13,506 MT in September, showing a 12.20% decrease in volume compared to August, though average realizations rose slightly by 1.11% to ₹73,826 per MT. Quarterly volumes improved by 20.77% QoQ with realizations increasing by 1.22%. Notably, the Jamuria facility’s color-coated plant is now fully operational, producing high-quality sheets under its premium SEL Tiger Roofing brands: SEL Tiger Royale, SEL Tiger Elite, SEL Tiger Azure, and SEL Tiger Alfa.

HR Tube & Pipe
HR Tube and Pipe sales for September fell 9.64% month-on-month to 300 MT, while realizations increased by 0.92% to ₹46,422 per MT. On a quarterly basis, volumes declined by 30.15% and realizations by 5.84%. Leftover HR coils from the color-coated plant are effectively repurposed to manufacture rectangular and square hollow section pipes.

Aluminum Foil
Sales of aluminum foil surged 36.79% MoM to 5,056 MT, with a slight dip in realizations by 1.77% to ₹3,93,576 per MT. On a YoY basis, volumes increased 4.10%, and realizations grew 11.81%. Quarterly results showed a minor 3.05% decline in volumes but a 6.18% rise in realizations.

Specialty Alloys
Specialty Alloy sales increased 14.39% YoY to 17,452 MT, though realizations slightly dipped by 1.34% to ₹1,01,399 per MT. Month-on-month, both volumes (11.97%) and realizations (17.53%) improved, while quarterly figures showed a 4.32% drop in volumes with an 8.59% gain in realizations.

Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel sales for September were 7,240 MT, down 11.44% YoY, but realizations rose 8.24% to ₹1,37,247 per MT. Volumes dropped 22.80% MoM, while realizations increased 9.11%. Quarterly volumes grew 24.77%, though realizations decreased by 5.41%.

Pellets & Carbon Steel
Pellet sales decreased 10.28% YoY to 82,354 MT, while realizations improved 19.89% to ₹9,271 per MT. On a quarterly basis, volumes were down 1.39% with realizations increasing 5.47%. Carbon Steel volumes grew 7.90% YoY to 1,48,378 MT, though realizations fell 2.89% to ₹41,136 per MT. QoQ, volumes increased 4.74% while realizations declined 7.46%.

Sponge Iron & Pig Iron
Sponge Iron sales dropped 28.72% YoY to 60,654 MT, with realizations falling 2.44%. Pig Iron volumes were 59,860 MT for September, down 11.67% MoM, with realizations stable at ₹32,514 per MT. The company’s blast furnace, sinter, and coke oven plants at Jamuria are now running at full capacity, contributing to strong quarterly growth.
