Shilchar Technologies Limited has announced a major capacity expansion at its existing plant in Gavasad, Vadodara, Gujarat. The company will add 6,500 MVA to its current capacity of 7,500 MVA, taking the total to 14,000 MVA by April 2027.
The expansion, requiring an investment of approximately Rs 90 crore, will be funded entirely from internal accruals. Shilchar said the move is aimed at meeting growing customer demand, with its existing facilities already running at 100% utilization.
This development marks a significant step for the company as it looks to strengthen its position in the transformer manufacturing space and cater to rising demand across key sectors.
