Shelter Pharma Limited has announced the successful installation of a 15 KW solar power plant at its factory in Himmatnagar, Gujarat. The move marks a significant step in the company’s sustainability journey, aligning with its commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing practices.
According to the company, the solar panels are installed on the factory rooftop and are projected to operate for 25 years. Shelter Pharma estimates that the installation cost will be recovered within the first four years through energy savings, allowing the company to benefit from reduced electricity expenses for the remaining 21 years.
“The solar power plant underscores our dedication to innovation, sustainability, and responsible corporate citizenship,” Shelter Pharma said in its filing.
