The patented technology solves a long-standing compatibility issue in the EV industry by enabling GBT-based electric vehicles to charge seamlessly using CCS2 DC fast chargers. With India steadily shifting toward the CCS2 standard, a large portion of legacy and commercial EV fleets still rely on GBT charging systems. Servotech’s newly patented device acts as an intelligent converter that connects to an existing CCS2 charger and ensures that GBT vehicles can charge quickly, safely, and without any infrastructure overhauls.
This innovation not only boosts the utilization of India’s growing CCS2-based charging network but also ensures that owners of older EV models are not excluded during the technological transition.
