Sequent Scientific Limited reported a strong operational performance for the quarter ended March 31, 2025 (Q4 FY25), marking a turnaround from a loss-making position in the same period last year.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹9.32 crore in Q4 FY25, a sharp improvement from a net loss of ₹0.9 crore in Q4 FY24. On a sequential basis, profit also grew substantially from ₹3.44 crore in Q3 FY25.

Revenue from operations for the March quarter stood at ₹401.7 crore, rising 11.2% year-on-year from ₹361.2 crore in Q4 FY24 and up 2.9% from ₹390.8 crore in the December 2024 quarter. Total income came in at ₹403.3 crore for Q4 FY25.

Total expenses were ₹386.8 crore, compared to ₹378.5 crore in Q4 FY24 and ₹388.2 crore in Q3.

Profit before tax stood at ₹16.63 crore, compared to ₹7.35 crore in Q4 FY24.

Tax expenses were ₹5.93 crore, leading to a profit after tax of ₹10.38 crore, versus ₹1.27 crore in Q4 FY24.
