
State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced that Shri Pravin Raghavendra, who currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO), will be superannuating from his role on April 30, 2025. The development was disclosed in an exchange filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
In the filing addressed to both the BSE and NSE, SBI confirmed the retirement as part of its regular senior management transition. Shri Pravin Raghavendra has been a key figure in SBI’s operational leadership, contributing significantly to the bank’s internal efficiency and process transformation over the years.
The bank has not yet announced a successor to the position of Deputy MD & COO. Further updates are expected in due course regarding succession planning and senior leadership restructuring.
