Sanathan Textiles Limited has announced the commencement of commercial production at its modern manufacturing facility in Wazirabad, Punjab, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth and expansion strategy. Phase 1 of the project has been commissioned with the Continuous Polymerisation line, and production has started at 350 tonnes per day. The output is expected to gradually increase to 700 tonnes per day within the next three to four months, paving the way for higher capacity and stronger market presence.

Once Phase 2 of the facility is fully implemented, the Punjab plant will contribute 950 tonnes per day, taking Sanathan Textiles’ overall installed yarn manufacturing capacity from 2,23,750 MTPA at its existing Silvassa plant to 5,70,500 MTPA across both locations. This expansion represents a major step in the company’s journey to strengthen its footprint in the domestic market while also enhancing its global reach.

The Punjab facility is being developed with a strong focus on sustainability and green manufacturing practices, while also creating a self-sufficient textile ecosystem for North India. On the other hand, the Silvassa unit, with its strategic proximity to western ports, will continue to meet domestic requirements and cater to export demand, further boosting Sanathan Textiles’ position in the international textile trade.
