Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Government of India enterprise, has been declared the Lowest Bidder (L1) for a major contract awarded by Western Railway. The project focuses on strengthening signaling and telecommunication (S&T) maintenance activities in the Ahmedabad Division by providing round-the-clock manpower for repair, upkeep, and maintenance of signaling and telecom equipment.

The contract is valued at ₹40.41 crore and will be executed over a period of 24 months. Under the scope of work, RVNL will ensure uninterrupted manpower support for the efficient functioning of signaling and telecom gears, which are critical for safe railway operations.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and forms part of RVNL’s regular business operations. It is not related to any promoter or group company interests and does not fall under related party transactions.

With this win, RVNL further strengthens its position as a key player in railway infrastructure development and operational support, continuing its contribution to the modernization of India’s railway network.
