Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has received a GST demand notice amounting to Rs 3.64 crore from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, DGSTO-1, Bengaluru, Karnataka, for the financial year 2021–22, the company informed stock exchanges on Tuesday .

In a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, RVNL said the demand notice was issued in Form DRC-07 vide order dated December 22, 2025. The notice relates to a tax demand raised by the state GST authority.

The company clarified that there is no material impact on its financial position, operations, or other business activities arising from the order. RVNL also stated that the demand is challengeable, and necessary appeals have already been filed or are in the process of being filed before the appropriate appellate authorities .

RVNL further noted that the disclosure has been made in compliance with SEBI’s Master Circular dated November 11, 2024, which mandates timely disclosure of regulatory and legal actions.

The company did not provide further details on the nature of the GST issue but maintained that it is contesting the demand through the prescribed legal route.
