Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has secured three major Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) from National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) for the construction of residential towers and associated infrastructure in Bacheli, Chhattisgarh. The total cumulative order value stands at ₹1,978.04 crore (including all taxes), reinforcing RVNL’s strong order inflow momentum in the infrastructure segment.
The contracts have been awarded under general contract conditions and are to be executed within a period of 34 months. All three projects have been granted by a domestic entity and fall within the normal course of RVNL’s business operations.
The first contract, valued at ₹644.84 crore, involves the construction of residential towers along with a shopping complex in Bacheli, Chhattisgarh. The second order, worth ₹536.40 crore, pertains to the development of residential towers at Iron Ore Deposit-10/11A in Bacheli. The third and largest contract among the three, valued at ₹796.80 crore, is for the construction of residential towers at Iron Ore Deposit-5 in the same region.
Collectively, these projects significantly strengthen RVNL’s presence in Chhattisgarh’s mining infrastructure ecosystem, particularly in NMDC’s operational zones. The developments are aimed at enhancing residential and support infrastructure in mining areas, improving living standards and supporting workforce expansion.
As per regulatory disclosures under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, RVNL confirmed that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity. Additionally, the contracts do not fall under related party transactions.
These back-to-back high-value contracts highlight RVNL’s diversified execution capabilities beyond railway infrastructure, showcasing its expanding footprint in civil construction and allied infrastructure projects. The fresh inflows are expected to further strengthen the company’s order book visibility over the medium term.
