Route Mobile’s promoter company, Proximus Global, has officially launched Konera, a next-generation Network API Platform aimed at enabling seamless connectivity between mobile operators, enterprises, and developers. The launch took place at the Global Fintech Fest 2025 in Mumbai.

Konera, aligned with the GSMA CAMARA standardization initiative, aggregates APIs from various mobile operators under one unified platform, allowing enterprises and developers to integrate communication and verification features globally.

Rajdip Gupta, Managing Director & CEO of Route Mobile, stated that India’s growing digital economy and robust developer ecosystem create strong demand for scalable, secure, and interoperable network API solutions. He emphasized that Konera will open new monetization opportunities for operators while simplifying enterprise integration worldwide.

Proximus Global, leveraging its Telesign brand for identity and verification APIs and its 300+ mobile network relationships via BICS, aims to make network APIs available to 92% of India by the end of 2025. The company serves over 100 global enterprises and 70 key operators across 20 countries.

According to Analysys Mason, global spending on CAMARA-based network APIs is expected to surge 1,282% from USD 550 million in 2024 to USD 7.6 billion by 2030, signaling immense growth potential in the programmable communications space.
