Route Mobile Ltd announced on Thursday that its Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. Mark James Reid as the new Chairman of the company. The decision was made based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and passed via circular resolution at 2:01 PM IST.
The appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Guillaume Antoine Boutin, who stepped down as Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director and Chairman of the company with effect from the close of business hours on April 17, 2025. In his resignation letter, Boutin cited pre-occupation and other personal commitments as the reasons for his departure.
As a result of his resignation, Boutin has also ceased to be a member of Route Mobile’s Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee. The Board expressed its sincere appreciation for his contributions during his tenure.
With Reid taking over as Chairman, the Board also approved the reconstitution of key committees. Notably:
