RMC Switchgears Limited has received Letters of Intent (LOIs) aggregating to ₹200.86 crore, inclusive of taxes, from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL). The orders relate to the development of power distribution infrastructure under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in Rajasthan and mark a significant boost to the company’s executable order book.

The first LOI, valued at ₹116.49 crore, pertains to the segregation of 11 kV mixed feeders at the Dholpur Circle of Jaipur Discom. The project will be executed on a turnkey basis under RFP JVVNL/RDSS/INFRA/FS/TN-610. The second LOI, amounting to ₹84.38 crore, involves segregation of 11 kV mixed load feeders at the Jhalawar Circle of Jaipur Discom under RFP JVVNL/RDSS/INFRA/FS/TN-612. Both projects fall under the RDSS framework, which focuses on reforms-based and results-linked improvements in India’s power distribution network.

As per the disclosed terms, work on both projects is expected to commence within 15 days from the date of award of the LOIs and will be completed in line with the programme schedule approved by the respective project authorities. The contracts have been awarded by a domestic government utility, and there is no promoter or related party interest involved in the transactions.
