RMC Switchgears Limited is set to enhance its renewable energy footprint with a state-of-the-art Solar Module Manufacturing Plant in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The plant will have an annual production capacity of 1 GWp for solar modules and mounting structures. The ambitious ₹100 crore project will be executed through its subsidiary, RMC Green Energy Pvt. Ltd., which will become a wholly owned entity as RMC increases its stake to 100%.
The facility, located next to RMC’s existing plant in Badodiya Village, Chaksu Tehsil, Jaipur, is slated for completion by July 2025, with commercial operations starting in August 2025. The project will be financed through a mix of internal funds, equity, and debt, reinforcing RMC’s commitment to sustainable growth and strengthening its renewable energy capabilities.
This initiative coincides with RMC’s Vision 2030 of being a ₹5000 crore firm and supports India’s ambitious renewable energy ambitions. The plant will improve RMC’s capacity to efficiently execute large-scale Solar EPC projects and strengthen its position in the renewable energy ecosystem.
