RMC Switchgears Limited has taken an important step forward in its solar EPC journey with the successful commissioning of 8.8 MWac under the 46 MWac project awarded by Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO). The work, carried out at Shevgaon in the Ahmednagar district, represents project progress worth ₹38.49 crore out of the total contract value of ₹153.98 crore. Being developed as a complete turnkey EPC assignment, the project remains on track, with the company confident of delivering the full 46 MWac capacity within the current financial year.
RMC’s latest commissioning marks a significant milestone because it highlights the company’s ability to execute complex solar infrastructure with quality and timeliness. The work happening at Shevgaon is particularly meaningful as it directly contributes to Maharashtra’s clean-energy ambitions while uplifting a predominantly rural region.
