RITES Limited has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) to strengthen cooperation in maritime logistics and multimodal transport solutions. The MoU was signed on the sidelines of India Maritime Week 2025.

As part of the collaboration, both organisations will jointly work on improving maritime logistics and shipping operations to ensure efficient and timely movement of RITES’ cargo across international locations. The partnership also aims to develop innovative, cost-effective and resilient supply-chain and logistics models specifically suited to RITES’ project needs.

In addition, RITES and SCI will engage in knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives, including best-practice exchanges in supply-chain resilience, digital cargo-tracking systems and logistics planning for high-value consignments. This cooperation is expected to support the companies’ efforts toward more efficient multimodal transport offerings across markets.

RITES, a Navratna PSU with more than five decades of experience in transport consultancy and engineering, has delivered projects in over 55 countries. SCI, a Government of India enterprise, is a key player in India’s maritime sector, and the collaboration aims to further enhance global logistics capabilities.
