RITES Ltd., a leading transport infrastructure consultancy, has informed exchanges that the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NBCC (India) Ltd., a CPSE under the Ministry of Housing Development, to explore and carry out a broad range of consultancy, fee-based projects, and EPC contracts from concept to commissioning.
The partnership includes working among the entities on numerous sectors and new-age projects in urban energy, water management, urban transportation and infrastructure and township development.
RITES will provide Consultancy and Project Management services, including conceptualization, planning, design, cost estimating, tender documents, and other pre-construction operations, as well as coordination for construction. On the other hand, NBCC will provide expertise in project implementation, including tenders, contract management, construction supervision, cost control, quality assurance, handing over/ commissioning and defect liability period.
