RITES Limited, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, has announced that it has received a Letter of Award from Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) for a major infrastructure project. The project involves the construction of a Regulator-cum-Bridge (RCB) across Chengalthodu at Chengal, Kanjoor Panchayath, near the Cochin International Airport.
The project will be executed on a turnkey basis, covering all stages from concept to commissioning, and will follow a cost-plus-fee model. The estimated project cost is ₹52 crore, excluding GST and inclusive of Project Management Consultancy (PMC) fees.
According to the official filing, the project has a completion timeline of 24 months. It has been awarded by a domestic entity, and there is no promoter or group company interest involved in the awarding entity. The company also clarified that the order does not fall under related party transactions.
This new contract further strengthens RITES’ position in the infrastructure development space, showcasing its expertise in handling large-scale turnkey projects.
