RITES Limited has been awarded a ₹53.5 crore turnkey contract from Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation (APGENCO) for the construction of a bypass line connecting the RTPP yard to Kalamalla Railway Station. Initially awarded on a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) basis, the project has now been converted into a turnkey contract.
The project is expected to be completed within 18 months and will play a critical role in improving the rail connectivity for the RTPP (Rayalaseema Thermal Power Plant) yard. This contract adds another significant order to RITES’ portfolio and showcases the company’s expertise in infrastructure development.
