RITES Ltd., a leading transport infrastructure consultancy, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited. This strategic partnership aims to jointly explore and pursue mining, renewable energy, and infrastructure development projects across India and international markets.
The collaboration will see both organizations pool their strengths—RITES contributing its global expertise in logistics, infrastructure, and market intelligence, while CMPDI brings in its technical prowess in mining and resource planning. Together, they aim to identify promising opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and undertake consultancy assignments in sectors such as coal mining, solar and wind energy, and allied infrastructure.
This MoU sets the foundation for joint proposals and project execution related to mining operations and efficient evacuation systems. The alliance will also focus on designing and implementing capacity-building programs to enhance project delivery and workforce skills.
