Refex Industries on Wednesday informed stock exchanges that it has secured a new order worth approximately Rs 43.74 crore for the transportation of pond ash to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) road projects. The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

According to the company’s filing, the contract has been awarded by a large domestic business conglomerate. The scope of work includes excavation, loading, transportation and unloading of pond ash for use in NHAI road construction projects.

Refex Industries stated that the order will be executed over a period of four months. The company did not disclose the name of the awarding entity but clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic party and is not a related party transaction.

The company also confirmed that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the entity awarding the contract. The order has been awarded on an arm’s length basis and does not fall under related party transactions.

Refex Industries operates across multiple business segments, including environmental solutions, ash handling and logistics services, and the latest order adds to its ongoing infrastructure-related execution portfolio.
