Rama Phosphates Limited has announced the extension of its lease agreement for its manufacturing plant at Nimbahera, Rajasthan, for another five years. The lease renewal, executed on October 6, 2025, between Rama Phosphates and Arihant Phosphate & Fertilizers Ltd., will be effective from December 9, 2026, to December 8, 2031 .
Located strategically at the border of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the Nimbahera unit has a production capacity of 66,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) in both powder and granulated forms. With this extension, Rama Phosphates’ total aggregate manufacturing capacity has now risen to 6.98 lakh MTPA, strengthening its position in the fertilizer segment .
The agreement extension was disclosed in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the SEBI Master Circular dated November 11, 2024. The company clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction and was executed at arm’s length .
Rama Phosphates, headquartered in Mumbai, manufactures SSP fertilizer, sulphuric acid, oleum, edible soya oil, lecithin, and micronutrients, among other products. The lease extension reinforces its commitment to expanding fertilizer manufacturing capabilities and sustaining operational efficiency across its facilities in Indore, Udaipur, Nimbahera, Pune, and Dhule.
