Rajesh Power Services Limited (RSPL), a leading EPC contractor in India’s power transmission and distribution sector, has signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Government of Gujarat on the opening day of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) 2025. The agreements collectively represent investments worth ₹4,754 crore aimed at strengthening Gujarat’s power infrastructure and promoting large-scale employment generation.

The inaugural edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference 2025 is being held at Ganpat University, Mehsana, from October 9 to 10, 2025. The two-day summit was inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw (Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & IT), in the presence of Shri Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for New & Renewable Energy and Consumer Affairs, along with senior state officials and industry leaders.

The MoUs were formally exchanged between Mr. Kaxil Patel, Director and Chief Financial Officer of Rajesh Power Services Limited, and Mr. Ajay Prakash, IAS, Managing Director of Gujarat Power Corporation Limited.

Under these MoUs, Ahmedabad-based Rajesh Power Services will undertake turnkey projects to convert overhead High Tension (HT) power lines into underground cable networks across various regions of Gujarat. This strategic initiative aims to enhance power reliability, minimize transmission losses, and ensure safer infrastructure in urban and rural areas.

The projects are also expected to create employment opportunities for over 33,000 people, reaffirming the Gujarat Government’s commitment to inclusive economic growth, infrastructure modernization, and skill development within the state.
