RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has secured a major domestic contract after receiving a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli. The order involves the supply, installation and commissioning of an IP-based video surveillance system in LHB coaches, in line with specifications laid down by the Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO).
As per the disclosure made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the estimated value of the order stands at ₹94.23 crore. The project scope includes end-to-end execution of the surveillance system along with a comprehensive three-year warranty, followed by five years of Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC), ensuring long-term system reliability and service support.
The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any promoter or promoter group interest. RailTel has also clarified that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, underscoring the arm’s-length nature of the deal.
The execution timeline for the project extends up to January 28, 2034, indicating a long-term engagement and steady revenue visibility for RailTel over the coming years. The work order was officially received on January 29, 2026.
