RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has announced a significant project win from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), strengthening its position as a key ICT and networking solutions provider. The company informed the stock exchanges that it has received a work order worth Rs 63.92 crore for designing and implementing an ICT network, along with long-term operational support.

According to the disclosure submitted to NSE and BSE on December 4, RailTel will undertake SITC (Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning) of an ICT network, followed by five years of operations & maintenance support. The order is domestic in nature and carries no related-party involvement, as per the company’s filing.

The work order, officially received on December 3 at 17:30 hrs, is scheduled for execution until May 12, 2031, indicating a long-duration project that ensures recurring revenue visibility over the coming years.

RailTel stated that the order falls under SEBI’s material disclosure requirements and has been reported accordingly. The company also confirmed that neither promoter groups nor group entities have any interest in the awarding authority.

This project adds to RailTel’s expanding portfolio of government-backed ICT and digital infrastructure assignments, reflecting continued demand for its technical capabilities within public sector networks.
